Having private parking available is actually a big deal if you’re planning to rent a car, though honestly, with the subway access, you probably won’t need one.

  This Travelodge is surprisingly well located. You're only a couple of stops from the main stations and a short journey to other tourist hotspots like Dotonburi. The hotel itself seems to be very new and is spotless. The rooms are compact but nicely appointed and I slept extremely well.
  
  What could be improved: It was disappointing not to be able to check in earlier but I understand the hotel was quite full. The washing machine and dryers were cheap to use but a long wait until the dryers were free. And the price seemed to drop closer to our arrival time: my friend booked a room at fairly short notice and got it cheaper.
