Perfect Kitahama Location

You know what really sets this place apart? The location in Osaka is absolutely spot-on. You’re right in Kitahama, which puts you within walking distance of Osaka Castle — actually, it’s just a pleasant 15-minute stroll along the river. The Yodoyabashi subway station is literally around the corner, so getting anywhere in the city is a breeze. What I love is that you’re close enough to all the action but tucked away from the chaos of Dotonbori or Namba. Couples especially seem to get this — they consistently rate the location super high, and I totally understand why.

The Room Experience

The room itself is classic Japanese efficiency at its finest. Yes, it’s compact — we’re talking typical Japanese business hotel size here — but everything has its place and purpose. The bed is surprisingly comfortable (I was skeptical at first), and the bathroom, while small, has one of those amazing Japanese toilets that somehow makes everything better. There’s decent storage space if you’re strategic about it, and the air conditioning actually works well, which isn’t always a given. The windows offer nice views of the surrounding business district, though don’t expect sweeping cityscapes.

Morning Fuel

Breakfast here is solid Asian fare — think rice, miso soup, grilled fish, and various pickled vegetables. It’s not fancy, but it’s authentic and filling, exactly what you want before a day of exploring Osaka. The restaurant area is small, so it can get busy during peak morning hours, but the turnover is quick. Honestly, I found myself looking forward to the simple, well-prepared Japanese breakfast each morning. It beats grabbing convenience store food, and the price point makes sense for what you get.

  The location was perfect! With the elevator you can go straight to the entrance for the trains to Kyoto or to explore Osaka.
  The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. And the hotel room was comfortabel and clean.

  The elevator's basement floor being linked to the train station was so convenient to access. Under the bed having room for luggage gave the room extra space 🙂

  This was our favourite hotel out of all 5 hotels that we stayed at in Japan. The location was perfect. You can take the elevator right down to the subway that will take you right into the centre. They provided us with a free upgrade and we loved the room! The toilet seat was always very warm compared to other hotel toilet seats. The staff were friendly and helpful. They have laundry facilities. There were tons of USB outlets which was very convenient. The hotel is clean and has everything you need. Just down the street was a great restaurant called Miraizaka that’s open till 1am and was always filled with locals, not tourists. The prices were incredible and the food was great! This is definitely where we’d stay again when visiting Osaka.

  Perfect location. You can easily visit places around the Osak. The hotel basement is connecting to the metro lines. You don't need to drag the luggage on the road. Breakfast was fantastic. Staff is very friendly. The room was a little cozy. It is worth the money.

  Middle of business district with train station with its own entrances directly underneath the building which is very convenient, take the elevator to BL.
  Very quiet area when work hours have finished
  15-20 minutes train to most popular spots
  Decent size room – solo traveller and it was perfect for me.
  If you do your research on cafe/restaurants in the area, there’s actually cute cafe near for a quick eat if you don’t want to travel far or dine in for breakfast
  
  What could be improved: elevator smelled like strong chlorine/chemicals most days which was very offsetting.
  
  Had construction next door happening at night which is completely fine but may be an issue if you can’t sleep and may want your window open for fresh air, only lasts a few hours but still a inconvenience
