The area transforms completely after office hours, with tiny izakayas tucked between office buildings and riverside walks that most tourists never discover. You can walk to Osaka Castle in about 15 minutes, and the subway connections are so good you’ll reach anywhere in the city without breaking a sweat.

The Room Experience

The room itself is compact but thoughtfully designed — I mean, this is Japan, so space efficiency is an art form here. Everything has its place, from the perfectly positioned desk to the bathroom that somehow feels bigger than it actually is. The bed is surprisingly comfortable for a business hotel, and the air conditioning actually works properly (you’d be amazed how often that’s not the case). What I really appreciated was the attention to small details — good lighting for reading, enough outlets for your devices, and blackout curtains that actually block out the city lights.

Breakfast here leans heavily Asian, which honestly makes perfect sense given where you are. You’ll find rice, miso soup, grilled fish, and pickled vegetables — basically a proper Japanese breakfast that’ll fuel you for a full day of exploring. The restaurant area is nothing fancy, but the food is fresh and authentic. If you’re expecting pancakes and bacon, you might want to adjust your expectations, but if you’re open to starting your day the local way, it’s actually pretty satisfying.

  The staff here were very friendly and accomodating helping us with the automated check-in. The rooms were a great size including the bathroom being seperate from the toilet. Everything was neat and tidy. We stayed here over a weekend so the area was lovely and quiet but we noticed during the week there is many more people around as it seems to be a business district. About a 10minute walk to the metro station which was very convenient for us and got us to all the places we wanted to visit. Also close to 7/11 and family marts.

  It's about a 20min walk away from the main area of Dotonburi, about 5 minutes from the station, plenty of local shops and restauraunts, the property itself is spotless, the rooms are lovely and up to date, it has an attached restauraunt which was very nice for breakfast. Staff were super polite and couldn't do enough for you, I had to dispose of a broken suitcase which isn't easy in Japan but the staff organised this for me with no issues.
  
  What could be improved: Not much, the attached restauraunt closes extremly early (we tried getting in at 5pm one day to be told they were closed) but honestly that's about it.

  Hotel is walking distance to Kitahama station, toiletries and pajamas are provided by the hotel, all staff are very helpful, our room is spacious, hotel is very clean.

  I basically chose the hotel for the end of our 18 days in Japan with our family of seven based on affordability and location. These are very reasonably priced hotels, the rooms are very small but clean, beds are very comfortable fulfilling our needs.
  
  What could be improved: The rooms are particularly small, but it is manageable. This is the only reason for not giving top marks. Apart from that, it was a great on every respect. Staff were wonderful!
