Hotel Description
So here’s the thing about the Rewit building in Osaka – it’s one of those places that sneaks up on you in the best way possible. I mean, when you first see the name and address, you’re probably thinking “what exactly am I getting into here?” but honestly, this little 3-star spot punches way above its weight class. That 8.6 rating isn’t just numbers on a screen, you know?
The building itself sits right in the heart of Osaka, and I’m talking proper Osaka here – not some touristy bubble where everything’s sanitized for visitors. You’ll hear the city humming around you, especially in the mornings when the salarymen are rushing to catch trains and the local bakeries are firing up their ovens. It’s actually kind of perfect if you want to feel like you’re living in the city rather than just passing through it. The check-in process was surprisingly smooth (I was expecting more of a language barrier situation, but the staff really knew their stuff), and the whole vibe is sort of understated efficiency meets genuine hospitality.
What really got me was the attention to small details that most places just… don’t bother with. The room had this perfect balance of modern functionality without feeling sterile – you know how some hotels feel like you’re sleeping in an IKEA showroom? Not here. The beds are actually comfortable (not just “hotel comfortable”), and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without playing Tetris with your luggage. The bathrooms are compact but smartly designed, which is pretty much what you’d expect in Japan, but they’ve managed to make it feel spacious somehow.
And here’s something I really appreciated – the noise levels are totally manageable. Even though you’re right in the thick of things, the windows do their job, so you’re not lying awake listening to traffic or late-night revelers. Though honestly, if you’re a super light sleeper, you might catch some early morning city sounds, but that’s just Osaka being Osaka.
The location is where this place really shines, and I don’t mean that in a “conveniently located near transportation” brochure way. You’re genuinely walking distance from some fantastic local spots that you probably wouldn’t stumble across otherwise. There’s this tiny ramen shop about three blocks away that doesn’t even have a sign in English, and the morning coffee scene nearby is legitimately good – not just “good for hotel coffee” but actually good coffee.
Look, it’s not going to blow you away with fancy amenities or Instagram-worthy lobbies, but that’s sort of the point. The Rewit building is for people who want a solid, comfortable base in a real part of Osaka without paying luxury hotel prices. You’re getting honest value here – clean, comfortable, well-located, and run by people who actually seem to care about your experience. Sometimes that’s exactly what you need, especially when you’d rather spend your money exploring the city than sitting in your hotel room.

The staff managing the property were responsive and very helpful – they answered all my questions before and during my stay.
In terms of value for money, you can’t find anything better than Rewit. It’s a large apartment with all the amenities you’ll need for a few days to a few months stay!
The location was central but still quiet and not too busy. There were a lot of shops and cafes within a few minutes walk and at least 3 subway stations within 8-12 mins walk.
What could be improved: Nothing.i highly recommend it to everyone!Cherry from Canada – 17 June 2025 (9/10)

What could be improved: Can't complainGavin from United Kingdom – 23 May 2025 (9/10)
Great location and very clean
What could be improved: No blinds on the windows in the sleeping area, they were frosted but you woke up with the sun. The washing machine was very good but could have been better as a washer dryer (unless I miss read the instructions).
Slept 3 but wit difficulty.An from Philippines – 23 May 2025 (9/10)
Loved the apartment, very clean and it has everything that we need. Perfect location, close to subway stations and to Shinsaibashi shopping street. Quiet neighboorhood. 7-11 just around the corner. Clear check in and check out instructions.
What could be improved: NothingVic from New Zealand – 14 May 2025 (9/10)
Pristine modern property, nice to have a separate bedroom in a Japanese style with tatamu flooring. Bed very low but the most comfortable mattress we had on our trip. Great to hang washing outside and fridge/kitchen fine for making simple breakfasts and meals. Fantastic location, popular shopping area and central to the whole city.
What could be improved: Nothing, be nice if the shower curtain was shorter though as it dragged in the bottom of the bath and so had become a bit stained and manky.Lukas from Germany – 9 May 2025 (9/10)
We loved this apartment. Unit 1203 had a good balcony, city views, a washer, 3(!) sinks for 3 people, and was airy and pretty. Just the right size if you don't mind sleeping in the same room, this was our favorite place on the trip.
Juwaidi from Malaysia – 5 May 2025 (8/10)

A balcony. We didnt go on it. But it feels nice to have.
Its roomy.
Good refridgerator
Washing machine
What could be improved: Ceiling lights are véry white bright
Shower curtain was orange with mold, and the bathtub lining also had a little black mold.
So, could be cleaner.
