Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name “Official TRhouses 米御東桜” I thought, okay, this is going to be one of those places that tries too hard. But you know what? Sometimes being wrong feels pretty great, especially when you’re sitting in a surprisingly stylish room that actually delivers on its promises.

The location is what really sold me on this place. Yeah, they say 15 minutes to all the big spots – Shinsaibashi, Kuromon Market, Namba – and that’s actually accurate if you’re walking at a decent pace (I timed it because, well, I’m that person). But here’s what they don’t tell you: you’re staying in Nakamoto, which honestly feels more like real Osaka than the tourist circus downtown. There’s this little ramen shop about three doors down that I stumbled into around 11 PM – no English menu, just an old guy making incredible tonkotsu broth who somehow understood my terrible pointing-and-bowing routine. The morning walks to Kuromon Market became my daily ritual, and I mean, starting your day weaving through actual neighborhoods instead of just hopping between tourist bubbles? That’s worth something.

The hotel itself feels like someone actually thought about what travelers need instead of just checking boxes on a corporate list. The room was bigger than I expected – not huge, but you can open your suitcase without doing some weird furniture-shuffling dance. Check-in was smooth, though the front desk staff’s English is more functional than conversational (totally fine, just manage expectations). What impressed me was the attention to small stuff: the shower pressure is excellent, there are enough outlets near the bed, and the air conditioning actually works without sounding like a helicopter landing. The building’s pretty quiet too, though you’ll hear some street noise if you’re a super light sleeper – nothing major, just the occasional delivery truck in the early morning. One tiny thing that bugged me was the wifi in the elevator, which cuts out between floors, but honestly, that’s me being picky. The 8.9 rating makes sense when you add it all up – it’s not trying to be the Ritz, but it nails what it’s actually going for. If you want to stay somewhere that feels connected to the city instead of floating above it, and you don’t need someone holding your hand through every tourist experience, this place gets it right.

  It is accessible by subway which is convenient. The place has all the amenities and it is large enough for family. The japanese style of one room makes the stay more memorable.
  
  What could be improved: The online guideline and the printed guideline are not consistent. For instance, according to the online manual the garbage does not have to be segregated but in the printed manual there seems to be some segregation. There are not much restaurants for families around. Also it is better if the guide to the place via train will lead guest to exit 6 or 7 as this have elevator as it is expected they have luggages. The stairs to 2F is quite steep, not recommended for people with toddlers or elders. Other than these, i think our stay was fine. Would be staying again if there are chances.

  Central location, within walking distance of several subway and train lines and Osaka Castle. We slept very well in the accommodation. We are very glad we chose Osaka and this house. We have travelled a lot outside of Osaka (e.g. Kyoto, Nara, Himeji, Hiroshima) and the location and infrastructure of the city and the accommodation was ideal for this.
  
  What could be improved: We were cold for a few days until we figured out how to operate the air conditioning. Our mistake, we could have called the host, who was very helpful with any questions we had.

  Excellent logement dans une rue très calme proche du château d'Osaka et de 2 stations de métro. Le logement est très confortable, il y a largement la place pour une famille de 4 personnes (un lit double et 3 lits simples). La décoration de l’appartement est jolie. Je recommande à 100%

  タオルが少なかったです。
  連泊すると洗濯が大変かな？
  キッチン用のタオルは別で用意してあると良かったです。
  映画は楽しめましたが、朝はTVが観たかったかな、、
  タオルの乾燥を利用したままだったのか、最初の洗濯後にタオルの毛羽が付いてしまい大変でした。

  とても綺麗でまた泊まりたいと思いました。
  快適です！
  近くのコインパーキングも安く、住宅街は少し怖かったが便利でした。
  
  What could be improved: テレビのケーブルが繋がっていなくて、地デジが見れなかったのが残念でした。次回泊まるまでにつなげてほしい。
  リビングに座りやすい椅子は2個あったが、4人中2人が地べたに座ったのがつらかった。
