The apartment itself feels more spacious than typical Japanese accommodations (and I’ve stayed in plenty), with actual room to spread out your suitcase without doing yoga moves around the bed. The kitchenette is functional if you want to grab ingredients from the local supermarket – there’s a decent one about three blocks east that locals actually use, not one of those touristy spots. What really won me over was the attention to small details: the water pressure is excellent, the AC actually cools the room efficiently, and there’s enough storage space that you don’t have to live out of your suitcase for a week.

The 8.8 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there – it’s not trying to be a luxury experience, but everything it does, it does really well. Check-in was smooth (they have good English support, which helps), and the area stays pretty quiet at night despite being well-connected. My only minor gripe is that the walls are a bit thin, so you might catch conversations from neighboring units, but that’s pretty standard for this style of accommodation in Japan. If you’re the type who wants to experience Osaka like you actually live there for a few days, rather than bouncing between tourist attractions from some generic hotel lobby, this spot delivers exactly that. Plus, your wallet will thank you – the money you save here versus staying in Dotonbori or Umeda can fund a lot more amazing meals.

  The staff were unbelievably kind and helpful. They were so attentive and even went as far as to call our next resort for us since we don’t speak Japanese. Also, having a bathroom all to ourselves was fantastic for the price. We loved how close it was to all the convenience stores and the train station, literally a two minute walk.
  
  What could be improved: Wallpaper was peeling slightly, bed was not the most comfortable.

  It was a really nice apartment, with everything you needed. The check-in was very easy. There is a designated smoking spot very close, so thst was a nice addition. I am a light sleeper, so the first night i heard almost all of the trains that were passing by, but i got used to them very fast. My partner didn't even hear them.

  Excellent location, very close to multiple train lines. Cross the tracks and lots of great restaurants literally one minute away. Modern, comfortable bed, really nice sheets and pillows. The contact was easy to deal with and very prompt at answering any questions.
