Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name MUJIroomTaisyoOsaka, I wasn’t sure what to expect. It’s tucked away in this residential area of Taisho ward that most tourists never see, which honestly turned out to be one of my favorite things about it. You know that feeling when you stumble onto something that feels authentically local? That’s exactly what this place delivers.

The location is actually pretty brilliant once you figure it out. Yeah, it’s not smack in the middle of Dotonbori or anything flashy like that, but hear me out – you’re in Sangen’ya Higashi, which means you get to experience Osaka like an actual resident would. There’s this amazing little ramen shop literally two blocks away that I never would’ve found otherwise, and the morning sounds from the neighborhood – kids heading to school, shopkeepers opening up – it’s just really peaceful. The apartment itself is pure MUJI aesthetic, which I mean, you either love that minimalist thing or you don’t. I personally find it kind of soothing after a day of sensory overload in the city. Everything’s clean lines and neutral colors, but not in a sterile way. More like… intentionally calm? The bed was surprisingly comfortable (sometimes these design-forward places forget about actually sleeping), and I loved having a proper kitchenette. You don’t realize how nice it is to make your own coffee in the morning until you’re doing it while looking out at a quiet Osaka street that feels worlds away from the tourist crowds.

What really surprised me was how well-connected this area actually is – the train situation is better than I expected, and you can get to the main sights without too much hassle. But honestly, some of my best memories were just wandering around the neighborhood. There’s this covered shopping street nearby where locals do their grocery shopping, and I felt like I was getting a glimpse of real daily life in Osaka. The whole experience just felt more genuine than staying in one of those big international hotels downtown. Is it perfect? Well, if you’re the type who needs to be within walking distance of every major attraction, this might not be your speed. And the building itself is pretty quiet, but you can sometimes hear the trains in the distance – though I actually found that kind of comforting in a weird way. The check-in process was smooth enough, very Japanese in its efficiency. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I wanted to slow down and actually experience Osaka instead of just checking things off a list. It’s one of those places that makes you feel like you’re living somewhere rather than just visiting.

  It was relatively large apartment by Japanese standards. Very clean and well equiped. Would be ideal for longer stay rental or use as a base for travelling as it has everything you need, washer/drying etc good kitchen

  駅が近く、コンビニも飲食店もあるのでとても便利でした。施設もきれいで良かったです。
  
  What could be improved: 入った時、部屋が少し臭かったのが気になりました。またエアコンも暖房にすると何か匂いがして不快でした。それだけが残念でした。

  最高の立地＆快適な滞在！大阪旅行にぴったりの宿泊先！！
  
  京セラドームでのコンサートのために宿泊しましたが、徒歩圏内という最高の立地で、終演後もスムーズに帰れるのが本当に便利でした！最寄駅からも徒歩3分と近く、心斎橋へも地下鉄でわずか6分。観光にもアクセス抜群です。
  
  周辺には飲食店やコンビニが豊富で食事にも困らず、それでいて宿は静かで落ち着いた環境。立地の良さと快適さが両立していて、とても居心地が良かったです。
  
  お部屋は広々として清潔感があり、ビジネスホテルより断然快適！洗濯乾燥機があるので荷物を少なくできるし、キッチン設備も充実していて連泊にも便利でした。さらに、ヘアアイロンやエアコン＋ヒーターも完備されており、女性にも優しい気遣いが感じられました。
  
  至れり尽くせりの素晴らしい宿だったので、次回大阪に来る際もぜひ利用したいです！

  とても落ち着くインテリアで、電気製品の設備も整っていて、とても使いやすかったです。

  対応が凄く良かった。
  周りの駐車場やアクティビティ、天気など色々な情報を教えてくれた。問い合わせにも直ぐに対応してくれた。
  お正月を挟んで宿泊したのですがちょっとしたプレゼント🎁をいただきました。
  
  What could be improved: 連泊はタオルを宿泊者が洗濯するとなってましたが洗剤が入ってなかった。
  掃除機にゴミが溜まっていて使えなかった。
  リビングのイスを引きずる音が出てしまうので対策した方が快適だと思う。
  3階の部屋のトイレのドアノブが下ではなく上に回すというのが分からない。

  広くてゆったりしているので、くつろげるところ。設備が充実していて、連泊しても何も不自由しないところ。駅近でアクセスが良いところ。周辺の店も充実しているところ。
  
  What could be improved: 初日入室時に部屋の匂いが気になりましたが、すぐ近くにマツキヨがあったので無香空間とリセッシュで対応できました。
