There’s this incredible little ramen joint two blocks north that I stumbled across purely by accident, and you’ve got access to the underground shopping labyrinths without fighting through the main tourist crowds. The hotel doesn’t have parking (because, well, central Osaka), but honestly you don’t need a car here anyway. Is it perfect? Not quite – the 7.7 rating feels about right because while everything works well, it’s not going to blow your mind with luxury touches. But for the price point and location, it’s actually a really solid choice if you want to be in the thick of things without sacrificing decent sleep. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I was traveling with friends who wanted to explore Osaka’s nightlife scene.

  The rooms were well equipped, and the beds were very comfortable. Plus the hotel was centrally located. We were able to store our luggage there for the day that we checked out so we can explore Osaka further.

  What could be improved: When we came in there was a small hill of bags and backpacks waiting for people to pick them up. While this is fantastic for people who leave later in the day, this blocks the waiting space if you're in line behind someone else.
