You know what caught me off guard about IBUNOYA天六? I honestly wasn’t expecting much from a place tucked into the second floor of the Teiwa Building in Honjohigashi, but this whole-floor rental completely flipped my assumptions. The moment you step inside, it’s clear someone put serious thought into this renovation – and I mean serious. Everything feels fresh and intentional, like they actually considered how ten people would realistically share a space without driving each other crazy.

The location is sort of perfect if you know Osaka at all. You’re basically in this residential pocket that feels authentically local (no tourist traps in sight), but Tenroku Station is close enough that you can hop on the subway and be in Namba or Umeda without the usual hassle. I actually found myself walking around the neighborhood in the evenings – there’s this quiet energy that’s hard to find in the busier districts. The building itself is pretty typical for the area, nothing fancy from the outside, but that’s honestly part of the charm. You’re not staying in some sterile hotel complex; you’re living like locals do, just with way better interior design.

What really impressed me was how they handled the space for a larger group. I’ve stayed in plenty of vacation rentals that claim they sleep ten people, and usually that means someone’s stuck on a lumpy futon in a hallway. Not here. The layout actually works – there are proper sleeping areas that don’t feel like afterthoughts, and the common spaces are big enough that you can spread out. The kitchen is fully functional too, which matters when you’re trying to feed a group and don’t want to blow your budget on restaurant meals every night. I mean, the 9.5 rating makes sense when you experience it firsthand. It’s one of those places where the little details add up – good water pressure, reliable WiFi, enough outlets where you need them. Honestly, my biggest complaint was that checkout came too quickly. For a three-star place, it punches way above its weight, and I’d book it again without hesitation if I’m ever back in Osaka with a group.

  The check-in instructions were very clear and helpful, which made our arrival easy. The host was very responsive to messages and extremely helpful. The apartment was spacious and very clean. We really appreciated having a washing machine — it was very convenient. The location was great, with a large grocery store nearby that had a wide selection. The host was incredibly kind and even drove us to Osaka Station on our last day. We were very happy with our stay.

  It was spacious and clean. Near to station also near to the convenience stores. Host was very responsive and tried accommodate all my request. I loved staying there and would love to stay there again in future.

  Towels, brush, kitchen, induction cooker, fridge and washing machine and dryer!
  Very reliable wifi connection.
  Comfortable water heating for shower and washing.

  Also, SHOUT OUT TO THE OWNER!!! Thank you so much for extending your service. I left my luggage in the apartment on my way to the airport and he went out and delivered my luggage to the airport. I will forever be grateful. But I will be back to this apartment soon. ☺️

  There is plenty of space for big families like mine. We were 7 members and it felt very comfy. You have everything that you need to feel like at home. The owner was super friendly and always very responsive. There is a supermarket just right in the corner which is also pretty convenient. There is also a metro station close by and a bus station too. I would definitely recommend this apartment.

  Viele große Betten, sehr komfortabel. Super Lage, man kommt gut überall hin ob zu Fuss oder mit der Bahn. Alles da was man braucht auch beispielsweise eine ausgestattete Küche.
  
  What could be improved: Irgendwie komisch geschnitten die Unterkunft. Es ist jetzt nicht besonders wohnlich oder schön aber halt zweckdienlich.
