Hotel S-Presso Central sits right in the heart of what’s genuinely considered the top-rated area in Osaka, and you’ll understand why once you start exploring. You’re walking distance from Namba (seriously, just a few minutes), but you’re not dealing with the chaos that comes with staying right in the thick of it. The train connections are fantastic — Nankai Namba Station is practically next door, so getting to Kansai Airport or day-tripping to Kyoto becomes ridiculously easy.

The Room Experience

The rooms here are what I’d call intelligently designed rather than just small. Yes, this is Japan, so don’t expect sprawling suites, but every square inch serves a purpose. The beds are genuinely comfortable (not always a given in business hotels), and there’s actually enough space to open your suitcase without playing Tetris with the furniture. What really impressed me was the attention to details — good lighting for actually reading, plenty of power outlets where you need them, and a bathroom that feels way more spacious than it has any right to be.

You get a solid mix of Japanese and Western options, and they clearly put effort into the quality rather than just quantity. It’s served in a bright, airy space that makes starting your day feel less rushed — which, you know, matters more than you’d think when you’re trying to tackle Osaka’s endless food scene.

  Great location, the room was the perfect size for a family of 3 (so much space for our luggage which is rare in Japan), the breakfast buffet, unlimited drinks at 4pm and the helpful Filipino staff at the front desk

  This hotel is perfect for families. I travelled with my nearly 2-year-old, and the spacious room was ideal for her to move around and play. There was a comfortable sofa where she could sit, read her books, and watch TV. The room was well-equipped with a microwave, stove, cutlery, and pots and pans—everything I needed to prepare meals for my fussy eater.
  
  One of the highlights was the unlimited drinks available from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., which was a lovely touch. The hotel also decorated our room for our anniversary for a small additional cost, which made our stay feel even more special.
  
  The location was great—just a short walk to Dodonbury, and the train station was easily accessible. The staff were fantastic—so helpful and kind throughout our stay. I’ll definitely be returning!
  
  What could be improved: Breakfast was just okay. There weren’t many vegetarian or halal options, but I was fine with just toast and tea.

  Great spot for a large family to spend time together. Instead of buying 2 or 3 rooms one can stay here comfortably. Very central location and 7/11 right out front as well
