Hotel Resol Trinity Osaka Overview

Look, I’ll be honest – when I first walked into Hotel Resol Trinity Osaka, I wasn’t expecting much. It’s tucked away on Koreibashi street in Chuo-ku, and from the outside it just looks like another business hotel. But you know what? Sometimes the unassuming places surprise you the most. The lobby hit me first – clean lines, warm wood, and this subtle lighting that actually makes you feel relaxed instead of like you’re checking into a corporate conference center. The staff at check-in were genuinely helpful too, not that robotic politeness you get at some places. They switched to English without me even asking, which honestly saved me from my terrible Japanese pronunciation.

What really sold me on this place was the location, though I mean, you probably won’t realize how perfect it is until you start exploring. You’re literally a five-minute walk from Kitahama Station, which connects you to basically everywhere you want to go in Osaka. But here’s the thing locals know – you’re also right between the business district and the older parts of the city, so you get this interesting mix. During the day, you’ll see salarymen grabbing coffee, but walk ten minutes toward the river and you’re in these quieter neighborhoods with tiny shrines tucked between buildings. The room itself was surprisingly spacious for Japan (and I’ve stayed in some closet-sized places here), with one of those deep Japanese bathtubs that actually fits a full-grown human. Small detail, but the blackout curtains were excellent – crucial when you’re dealing with jet lag and those bright Osaka mornings.

The breakfast situation deserves a mention because it’s one of those things that can make or break a stay. They do this Japanese-Western hybrid buffet that actually works, unlike some hotels where they just throw together random items and call it international cuisine. I found myself going back for their miso soup every morning, and honestly, their coffee was better than most convenience store coffee, which is saying something in Japan. One tiny critique – the elevators are a bit slow during morning rush, but that’s when everyone’s heading out anyway. What I really appreciated was how quiet the place stays at night, even though you’re in the middle of the city. The soundproofing is solid, so you’re not dealing with street noise or hearing your neighbors’ TV shows. If you’re planning to stay here, book directly through them rather than third-party sites – I learned this the hard way on a previous trip when my reservation got mixed up. The 8.8 rating this place has? It’s earned. Not flashy, not trying too hard, just a really well-run hotel that gets the basics right and then adds those little touches that make you want to come back.

  • Ania from United Kingdom – 11 June 2025 (9/10)

The location was perfect, very close to the main places but in a very quiet neighbourhood, and 4 mins away from the metro station. The amenities were great, didn't have a chance to take calligraphy classes but defo will next time! The staff was super friendly and helped with luggage forwarding.
The room was very vibey and lightning made it atmospheric.
There's a laundry and drying machine which was great!

What could be improved: The room was bit small (still not as small as our Tokyo ones).
Onsen didn't allow tattooed people in :((

  • Hiu from Hong Kong – 10 June 2025 (8/10)

  • Alexandra from Slovakia – 9 June 2025 (9/10)

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous, my room was so lovely and I was really comfortable there. The amenities were really nice and I had the pleasure to take the calligraphy classes at the hotel which was so much fun. The staff were very friendly and helped me with all of my requests. It’s located 4 minutes away from the Yodoyabashi metro station and there are multiple convenience stores around the vicinity in case you need a quick bite to eat.

  • Ashley from United Kingdom – 9 June 2025 (9/10)

Very aesthetically pleasing, staff was very friendly and spoke good English, the rooms were spacious, the spa looked amazing, due to having tattoos I wasn’t able to participate but the people I spoke to said it was stunning!

    Beautiful clean rooms

  • Stephen from United Kingdom – 31 May 2025 (9/10)

It was in a quiet area but close to the metro so easy to get to railway station and dotonbori. The room was very well equipped, and there is an onsen included

What could be improved: Lighting was very atmospheric but there was no option to just have a bright light on, so it was difficult to see sometimes when you were trying to do something

  • Margot from France – 25 May 2025 (8/10)

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Resol Trinity Osaka. The location is excellent, with many attractions within walking distance.
The breakfast was delicious, and we especially appreciated the unique calligraphy experience offered at the hotel !

What could be improved: Be aware that the Onsen are not mixed which could be disappointing if you come as couple.
