The room itself follows that Japanese philosophy of making small spaces feel perfectly functional. Sure, it’s compact, but everything has its place — the bed is surprisingly comfortable, and the bathroom actually has decent water pressure, which isn’t always a given in this price range. What I really appreciated was the attention to detail: proper blackout curtains (essential when those Dotonbori neon signs are flashing all night), decent Wi-Fi, and air conditioning that actually works. The windows offer glimpses of the organized chaos below, though honestly, you’ll probably be out exploring most of the time anyway.

Getting Around

Transportation-wise, you’re golden here. Namba Station is basically a short walk away, which means you can hop on the subway and be in Shibuya, Kyoto, or anywhere else you want to explore without the hassle of dragging your luggage across the city first. I actually found myself using the hotel as a perfect base camp — you can store your stuff, venture out for the day, and come back to refuel before hitting the nightlife scene. The area never really sleeps, so whether you’re an early riser hitting the fish markets or a night owl chasing the best ramen at 2 AM, the location just works.

  A huge selection of free amenities (soft drinks, coffees, liquors, popcorn, sweets), items to rent (for free), free breakfast and free afternoon Ramen, and hygiene products at the hotel lobby.
  The room was equipped with massage chairs, all hygiene products that you can imagine, hair straightener, hair dryer, pelnty of towels.
  
  What could be improved: Many surfaces were dusty and unfortunately we received a smoking room, where the toilet smelled intensly like cigarette smoke.
  For cheking out 30 minutes after the regular time 600 Yen were charged (other properties are usually more lenient with that), staff said that a 10 minute delay is acceptable.

  Loved that the hotel offered free breakfast and free afternoon tea. Also lots of amenities such as, facial, body and hair products to use.
  
  What could be improved: Room was a little small for 2 adults and 2 teens. The entrance area for shoes was too small that could result in safety hazard.

  The size of the room was terrific for the price we paid. The amenities are also excellent, offering a variety of complimentary services to enhance your stay. Staff are very willing to assist with anything needed, including holding on to your luggage even after check out, so that you can explore.

  The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Free refreshments were served in the lobby, and the highlights of our stay were definitely the shampoo and body wash bar, as well as the amenities bar. Although the room was a bit cramped for our family of six, we genuinely enjoyed our time there. The room was clean and lovely. The kids loved the bunk beds, as they provided them with their own personal space. Overall, our stay was great!
  
  What could be improved: The room space could be bigger for a family room, as travellers would bring a few large suitcases, which are a bit tight for us to store in the room.

  Exceptional value. Staff was great. Spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed rooms. Breakfast delivered to the room daily at designated time with extra coffee!

  The location of the hotel was in close proximity to Namba station, which allowed us to travel to the airport easily. Also it was a walking distance from Dotonbori famous sights which had many shops and restaurants. The hotel and room itself had everything you need for families with kids. The hotel also offer free ramen noodles, drinks and toiletries making stay more value for money.

  The hotel is very well located. We were allowed to check in 1 hour early. This was very important for us. The free breakfast and dinner noodles at the hotel were enjoyable. There are also many free drinks and cosmetics available at the hotel. The room was large enough and the bathroom was very spacious. We were very pleased with our stay. I recommend it to everyone.
