The train connections are solid too; you can get to Namba in about 10 minutes, but you can also easily hop over to lesser-known areas like Sakai or even make day trips down to Wakayama. There’s this little ramen shop about three blocks away that stays open late, and the convenience store downstairs (well, sort of downstairs) stocks better snacks than most hotel vending machines. Check-in was smooth enough, though the staff’s English is pretty basic – not a problem if you’ve got translation apps, but worth knowing ahead of time. One small thing that bugged me: the elevator can get a bit slow during peak hours, but honestly, that’s a minor complaint for a place that delivers this much value. If you’re the type who wants to experience Osaka like someone who actually lives here rather than just hitting the tourist highlights, this spot works really well.
