You know what struck me first about this place? The name is completely honest – there really is free parking right there, which honestly feels like finding gold in Osaka. I mean, you’re staying in Naminishi, which is basically walking distance to all the Namba chaos, but you’ve got your own little bubble with actual car space. The whole setup is this spacious 120 square meter villa that’s been divided into four rooms, and it works surprisingly well.

The location is pretty clever, actually. You’re on this quiet residential street that most tourists never discover, but you can literally walk to Dotonbori in about ten minutes – fifteen if you’re dragging luggage. I stayed there during cherry blossom season (probably the worst time for crowds) and coming back to this peaceful little spot after fighting through the Glico sign masses felt like such a relief. The neighborhood has this authentic Osaka vibe too – there’s a tiny ramen shop two blocks over that doesn’t even have an English menu, and a convenience store right around the corner where the staff actually started recognizing me after a couple days.

What I really appreciated was how they’ve set up the space. It’s not trying to be some fancy hotel – it’s more like staying in someone’s well-organized home. The rooms are clean and functional, with enough space that you’re not tripping over your suitcase every five minutes. The shared areas feel natural, not awkward, and honestly the whole place stays pretty quiet even when it’s full. I was worried about noise from the other guests, but the walls are decent and most people staying here seem to be the type who appreciate having found this little gem rather than party-hard backpackers. The WiFi actually works well too, which you can’t always count on in these converted residential places.

The 8.9 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there – it’s one of those places that just does everything right without making a big deal about it. Check-in was smooth (they send you detailed instructions beforehand), the place was spotless, and when I had a question about getting to Osaka Castle, they gave me the actual local route instead of the touristy one. Plus, and this might sound small, but they had proper hangers in the closet and enough outlets near the bed. You know how some places cheap out on stuff like that? Not here.

If you’re the kind of traveler who wants to experience Osaka like you actually live there for a few days, rather than just hotel-hopping through the highlights, this place nails it. You’ll save money on parking, avoid the tourist trap hotels in the thick of everything, but still be close enough that you’re never more than a short walk from whatever Namba adventure you’re chasing. Just don’t expect room service or a concierge desk – this is more about having a genuine base in the city than being pampered.

  很方便，有洗衣機可以洗衣服，屋頂還可以曬衣服，也可以煮東西，就是家的感覺，外面有公車可以搭到難波，剛好位於環狀線蘆竹橋站跟今宮站間，所以走去這2站大概都要15分翁，但盧竹橋站附近有超市，所以都是邊下車去買東西後再回去，周邊是住宅區，所以晚上很安靜

  Casa muito limpa, espacosa, com otima localizacao, comodidade por ter 2 garagens, todos utensilios para banho, cozinha, camas confortaveis!Otima localizacao, fomos em 5 adultos e 3 criancas, mas poderia ate ser um grupo maior, pois acomodaria todos!
