F cross EBISU Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to F cross EBISU, you’ll notice it’s not trying to be flashy — and honestly, that’s part of its charm. This three-star property sits quietly in the Nippombashi Higashi area of Osaka, but don’t let the understated exterior fool you. The building has this clean, modern look that immediately tells you someone’s paying attention to the details here. The entrance welcomes you with a sense of understated elegance that sets the tone for your stay.
Location & Getting Around
Here’s what I love about this spot — you’re actually in a real neighborhood, not some touristy bubble. The Nippombashi area gives you that authentic Osaka feeling, with local shops and eateries scattered around that most visitors never discover. You know what’s really convenient? The train connections are solid without the chaos of being right in the thick of things. I mean, couples seem to get this — they’ve rated the location 8.7, which honestly makes sense when you experience how easy it is to slip into the city center or retreat back to this quieter pocket. The accessibility to public transport makes exploring effortless.
The Room Experience
The room itself strikes that perfect balance between compact and functional — very Japanese in the best way possible. Everything has its place, and the design feels thoughtful rather than cramped. The beds are surprisingly comfortable (I was a bit skeptical at first), and the bathroom setup is cleverly designed to maximize the space. What really impressed me was how quiet it stays at night, even though you’re still very much in the city. Natural light filters through the windows beautifully throughout the day.
Neighborhood Discoveries
This is where F cross EBISU really shines — the area around it is fantastic for wandering. There’s this whole network of small streets with hole-in-the-wall places that serve incredible food, and you’ll find yourself stumbling across shops selling everything from vintage electronics to handmade crafts. The local convenience stores are right there when you need them, but you’re also close enough to bigger shopping areas when you want more options. It’s that sweet spot where you feel like you’re living in Osaka rather than just visiting it. Every corner reveals something new and interesting.
Why Guests Love It
Recent guests have been rating the location at 9.1, and after staying here, I totally understand why. It’s not about being in the absolute center of everything — it’s about being somewhere that feels genuine and accessible at the same time. The staff keeps things running smoothly without being overly formal, and there’s something refreshing about a place that focuses on doing the basics really well rather than trying to wow you with unnecessary extras. For the price point, you’re getting solid value in a part of Osaka that gives you room to breathe while keeping all the city’s energy within easy reach. This apartment-style property offers the perfect blend of comfort and authenticity.
Activities in Osaka provide tourists with authentic local experiences, allowing them to explore traditional shotengai shopping streets and experience daily life in charming neighborhoods like Shinsekai and Amerikamura.

Reviews of F cross EBISU

It was in a great location with all amenities needed
What could be improved: A bit squishy with the 2 beds (not a lot of floor space).Alicia from Australia – 22 October 2024 (8/10)
Great location to metro and area around ebisuhigashi is fun, easy access
What could be improved: Tight fit but everything is in OsakaNikilesh from United Kingdom – 11 September 2024 (9/10)
The location is perfect, very close to the subway and the tsutenkaku tower, lot of eateries nearby. They also provide a lot of amenities/kitchenware, however, I did not like their toiletries, especially the bath gel.
What could be improved: Too cramped in the bed room, 2 queen bed take up most the space. I also traveled solo so didn’t really need all that bed space. I hit my toes in bed corners one way too many times.Charisse from United Arab Emirates – 8 September 2024 (9/10)
Location is perfect. Close to a train station. Just opposite of shensekai and there is a lot of convenience store nearby.
What could be improved: There is no elevator. There is no rack in the cabinet to place your clothes.Soriano from Philippines – 29 July 2024 (9/10)
Feels like home

Beds and room were very comfortable. Fridge was nice size. Bathroom and facilities were nice and clean. Amenities were appreciated. Felt secure as two women traveling alone.
What could be improved: Check in instructions were a little confusing but we eventually figured it out. There were multiple codes for different steps and that made it take a bit longer than I would have liked. But it felt very secure once in.
Instructions for washing machine would have been helpful as it appeared that it maybe had a dryer feature but if so, I couldn't make it work. Info about need to hang dry clothes out on the deck would be appreciated.Emma from Australia – 28 April 2024 (8/10)
The check in process wasn’t easy. As the tablet you have to check in on is directly in front of the elevator so you are blocking other people from accessing it! Also the lighting is pretty bad for when you have to take a photo of your id
What could be improved: Just the tablet check in systemDonnie from Thailand – 19 April 2024 (8/10)
It is close to some tourist attractions, restaurants and train lines. Worth the price.
What could be improved: A bit narrow space but we did manage to get ourselves organized.Teresa from Australia – 18 January 2024 (9/10)
The host was exceptionally good. So responsive to our queries. To be honest it sounded like it was going to be difficult to just get into our rooms as there is no physical person to check you in and it is a keyless process with 2 PIN codes. However they were very understanding and assured us it was ok.
It was ok and actually prefer the keyless system.
Also the room is clean, conveniently located and has a washer and dryer system. So so handy!
What could be improved: A little small for 4 people, however we had what we needed. Eg microwave, kitchen, fridge two chairs and table. Seperate bathroom to toilet. Also slightly noisy at night as it was next to a very busy area.Marius from Germany – 16 January 2024 (9/10)
– clean
– nice location
– modern room
What could be improved: – the room was a bit small
– The check-in process was unclear to me (we had two working pins to enter the room)
