There’s a convenience store about two minutes away (trust me, you’ll use it), and the train connections are solid once you figure out the system. I mean, it takes maybe 15 minutes to get to the main tourist areas, which is pretty reasonable.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was compact but thoughtfully designed — very Japanese in that efficient way where everything has its place. The bed was surprisingly comfortable for a three-star property, and the bathroom, while small, had everything you need including a proper Japanese-style bath setup. What really impressed me was how clean everything was, and I’m talking about that deep-clean feeling where you know they actually care. The air conditioning worked perfectly too, which honestly can be hit-or-miss at this price point.

Breakfast isn’t included, but there’s a decent restaurant nearby that the staff recommended — they actually drew me a little map, which was sweet. The front desk folks speak enough English to help with basic questions, though having Google Translate handy doesn’t hurt. Parking is available if you’re driving, but honestly, you probably don’t need a car in this area. The lobby has this cozy, lived-in feeling that makes you want to sit and plan your day rather than rush out immediately.

  Big living where you can enjoy coffee or even dinner. Nice facilities in the kitchen. There is also a laundry washing machine. Many towels. Old bath Japanese style, but kids love it.
  Near we enjoyed very delicious yakiniku (Korean style stake house)
  
  What could be improved: There are 2 rooms, one with two single beds and one with 2 double beds and 2 single. Little bit too crowded. There is only one toilet and one sink for washing hands or face. We were 7 people, so there were not enough facilities. The house is not soundproof. Between floors, not soundproof atoll, so you can hear all the noise coming from living while you sleep in upstairs bedroom.

  We loved the style of this house and the kids loved all the toys. There were plenty of beds for the 6 of us.The kitchen had everything we needed. It was also 10 minutes from the train station by foot, which made it convenient for commuting via train. There was also a mix up when we checked in, but the host was very quick to respond to us and help.
  
  What could be improved: The house was pretty dusty ( my allergies weren't very happy) and I could tell some areas weren't always cleaned (under the couch). But, the place was overall very clean, just would have liked it not so dusty.

  The house was very clean, quiet and spacious for our family of four. It looked even better than in the pictures. The location is great for USJ with a few minutes walk to the JR station plus a few minutes of train ride. It's also a short walk to the circle line station where you can easily go to the downtown and other areas of the city.
  
  It was convenient to have a full kitchen although we only used it for breakfast. And I appreciated that there was a washing machine and space to dry clothes. There were some toys for the little ones to play with. My nine year old daughter liked them.
  
  We met the host at checkout when he was there for cleaning. He kindly offered us an umbrella as it was raining.

  This apartment has everything you need for a family stay. My children didn't want to leave.
  
  What could be improved: FYI Google maps plots the location in two different places, so we caught a taxi there from the train station. This isn't the fault of the host accommodation though.

  It was nice to stay in a house and have a common space to hang out together in downtime. The living room, though small, was very nice. The beds were comfortable and it was quiet at night which was nice. Nishikujo station is a 10 minute walk from the house where it is easy to take a train to USJ or Osaka station.
  
  What could be improved: When I booked the house it was advertised as having three bedrooms. However when we arrived there were only two. When I contacted the host they explained there was a removable wall and there are only two bedrooms. Though we made it work, it was disappointing as I felt misled. I hope the advert will be updated to accurately reflect the bedrooms. I also would suggest having English instructions for the washing machine as it was a little difficult to figure out. Otherwise our stay was very nice.
