The building itself has that modern Japanese minimalist thing going on – clean lines, lots of white, the kind of place where you actually want to take your shoes off at the entrance.

The apartment-style setup is where this place really shines, and I get why it’s pulling an 8.8 rating despite being a three-star spot. These aren’t your typical cramped hotel rooms – you’ve got actual living space with a proper kitchenette, which becomes a game-changer when you realize there’s a Lawson convenience store practically next door and a fantastic little supermarket about two blocks down toward Namba Station. I spent more time than I’d like to admit cooking random Japanese ingredients I’d never tried before. The beds are those firm Japanese-style ones that somehow manage to be incredibly comfortable (though if you’re used to super soft mattresses, it might take a night to adjust). What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays – the windows actually block out the street noise, which is no small feat considering you’re in the heart of Naniwa-ku.

Location-wise, this place is sort of perfectly positioned if you want to experience Osaka like someone who actually lives there, not just tourist-hop. Sure, you can walk to all the obvious spots – Kuromon Ichiba Market is maybe eight minutes away, and you’ll hit Namba Station without breaking a sweat – but you’re also right in this residential-commercial mix where locals actually hang out. There’s this tiny ramen shop around the corner that doesn’t even have an English sign, and honestly some of the best takoyaki I had wasn’t at the famous tourist spots but at this little stand near Ebisu Station (which is super close, by the way). The staff speaks decent English and they’re genuinely helpful with directions, though they’re not hovering around like at bigger hotels – you get your key, maybe some recommendations if you ask, and they let you do your thing. Check-in was smooth, no weird complications with foreign credit cards or anything like that. If I had one tiny complaint, it’d be that the wifi can get a bit spotty during peak evening hours, but honestly, that might’ve been a blessing in disguise – forced me to actually explore instead of doom-scrolling on my phone.

  The facilities are very modern and clean. It is also spacious.
  
  What could be improved: The air-conditioner during our stay was hit or miss. Sometimes it was cold, but most of the time it was not cooling the room enough making it difficult to sleep since it was a bit too warm.

  A very clean, modern apartment with all the required facilities. Located in a quiet street, Combi stores and Supermarket are very close by plus it’s a 1 minute walk to/from the Ebisucho Metro or if you want some exercise Namba and Tennoji are both 15-20 minutes walk away (in opposite directions).
  
  What could be improved: We had an issue with the electronic door lock on our final morning but this was resolved quite quickly with advice from the support desk, the lower case can be slid off and the door opened manually. As with all rentals there were two double beds which was too much for the apartment size, better to just have one double bed and a proper sofa which can be converted into a bed if required.

  Location, comfortable beds with ample space and we had 3 adults and 1 @14 yrs old that is 6' ft tall. Washer was ideal with ample space to hang clothes on balcony. Overall it was excellent and we will be rebooking when back in Osaka and will recommend to friends and families when visiting Osaka, Japan

  The location is good. It is near the New World. Besides, it is near the train station just 15 min, and is near the MTR just 5 min so you can go everywhere easily.
