Look, I’ve stayed in my fair share of budget places in Osaka, and Bliss INN Kuromon actually surprised me. When I first walked up to the building on that narrow street in Nipponbashi, I’ll be honest – I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place. But you know what? Sometimes the unassuming spots turn out to be gems.

The thing about this location is that you’re literally a two-minute walk from Kuromon Ichiba Market, which means you can grab fresh sushi for breakfast without even fully waking up. I mean, how many hotels let you stumble out in your pajamas (well, decent clothes obviously) and come back with the best tuna you’ve ever had? The neighborhood’s got this authentic working vibe during the day – you’ll hear the market vendors calling out prices, smell the grilled seafood, see locals doing their actual grocery shopping instead of just tourists snapping photos. It’s pretty refreshing, honestly.

What really won me over was how the staff seemed to actually care about the details. Check-in was smooth, they had decent English, and – this might sound weird – but the hallways didn’t have that musty smell you get in a lot of older Japanese budget hotels. The rooms are small, sure, but they’re thoughtfully designed. Everything has its place, the bed was surprisingly comfortable, and the bathroom… well, it’s tiny but functional. You’re not going to mistake it for a luxury suite, but you’ll sleep well and wake up clean. The building’s pretty quiet too, which is saying something considering you’re in the middle of Osaka. I think the market noise dies down by evening, and the street isn’t a major thoroughfare, so you don’t get trucks rumbling by all night.

Here’s what I really appreciated – they seem to get that most people staying here are either budget-conscious travelers who still want comfort, or folks who plan to spend most of their time exploring the city. The location puts you within walking distance of Dotonbori (about 10 minutes if you don’t get distracted by all the food stalls), and you’re close to multiple subway lines without being right on top of the chaos. Plus, and this is key, there are convenience stores on basically every corner, so you’re never stuck without essentials. That 9.3 rating isn’t some fluke – it’s what happens when a place knows exactly what it is and does it well without trying to be something fancy. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable base to explore Osaka’s food scene and don’t need a lot of bells and whistles, this spot delivers.

  쿠로몬시장 바로 앞에 있는 숙소여서 도톤보리와 거리는 좀 있지만 거리를 구경하면서 걷기에는 나쁘지않음 그런데 난카이난선에서는 도보 10분거리로 가까운 편임.
  또한 현대와 전통이 섞여있어 사용하기 편안했고 지어진지 얼마되지않아 깔끔함
  예정보다 일찍도착해서 사장님께 양해를 구하고 짐을 맡겨둘 수 있는 점도 좋음
  결론: 번화가에서 거리가 있으나 시설좋고 가격적인 측면을 생각하면 나쁘지않음
  
  What could be improved: 밤에 창문 열고 자면 시끄럽고(오사카 특성 상 늦게까지 술먹는 사람들이 많아서 그런듯) 계단이 좀 가파름. 조심해야 함
  또 아쉬운 점은 번화가에서 벗어나서 밤에 나가기엔 무서움
  편의점이 근처에 패밀리마트 뿐임(로손과 세븐일레븐은 도보 7분 정도 걸어야함, 패밀리마트는 도보 5분?)
  아, 앞이 물담배 가게임(숙소 앞에서 담배피는 사람 많음)
  변기는 1층과 2층 두군데에 있으나 샤워시설은 1층에 하나있음.

  새로 지어진 깨끗한 집입니다. 리모델링이 아니라 아예 새로 지은 집이라 물도 잘나오고 모든게 다 깨끗하고 좋았습니다. 작은 정원도 이쁘고 인테리어도 깔끔하고 세련되어서 나중에 이런 집에서 살고 싶네요.
  
  위치도 구로몬 시장 바로 옆이고 난카이난바 역에서도 캐리어끌고 한 10분 거리, 도톤보리에서도 10~15분 거리로 멀지 않습니다.
  
  침구도 폭신폭신해서 좋았고 주방과 큰 식탁이 있어 편의점에서 음식을 사오거나 해먹기 좋습니다.
  
  호스트분도 친절하시고 꼼꼼하셔서 불편한 것 없이 정말 좋은 시간 보냈네요. 강추합니다!!

  窗外的风景太美丽了我很喜欢，床很舒服睡的很好。附近有小奶牛猫很可爱。民宿老板非常有品味房间装修的很漂亮，虽然房间很小但是很舒服。
