Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard “Apartment Namba Style VR,” I was expecting some gimmicky tech-heavy place that prioritized gadgets over comfort. Boy, was I wrong. This little gem tucked away in the Inari district actually gets it right in ways that surprised me.

The location is what really sold me, though it took me a minute to appreciate it. You’re technically in Namba, but not in the absolute chaos of the main drag – you know that overwhelming stretch where tourists get lost among the neon signs and street food vendors. Instead, you’re about a seven-minute walk from all that action, which honestly feels perfect after spending a day navigating Osaka’s crowds. The building sits on this quiet residential street where you can actually hear yourself think, but you’re still close enough that late-night ramen runs are totally doable. I mean, there’s this incredible little takoyaki stand just two blocks over that most tourists never find because it’s not right in the thick of things.

What struck me most was how thoughtfully designed everything felt – and I don’t just mean the apartment itself, though that 9.2 rating makes total sense once you’re inside. The whole setup feels like someone actually lives in Osaka and understands what travelers need. The kitchen isn’t just for show (I made coffee every morning and it felt natural), there’s proper storage space for the ridiculous amount of stuff you accumulate shopping in Osaka, and the Wi-Fi actually works consistently – which, let’s be real, isn’t always a given even in nice places. The VR element isn’t some cheesy gimmick either; it’s more like a thoughtful addition that you can ignore if you want or dive into if you’re curious. What really got me was the attention to small details – good hangers in the closet, outlets where you actually need them, and blackout curtains that work (crucial when you’re dealing with jet lag). The building itself is quiet too, which shocked me given how close you are to everything. I stayed there during Golden Week, so I was bracing for noise, but honestly slept better than I do at home. The only minor thing is that the elevator is tiny, so if you’re traveling with massive suitcases, just be prepared for some maneuvering. But for a three-star place in this part of Osaka, it punches way above its weight class.

  Good space, furnishings and very clean. Quiet at night and a short walk from the train station which we used most days. The apartment was spotless and we were able to cook a little in the evenings. There is a brilliant supermarket a short walk away which sells everything you need. Space is sometimes hard to find so this apartment was great! The staff also helped replace something for us very promptly and no issues at all.
  
  What could be improved: No concerns, just be aware there are stairs up to some of the apartments. So prepare for this if you have heavy bags.

  What could be improved: There were not enough clothes hangers for 3 people (only 3). Not enough storage space. Laundry/dryer machine does not actually dry. Unit is in a walk-up 4 flights up with no elevator.

  The location and it felt like two rooms. The kitchen, bathroom and shower were a good size. I like that there were streaming services.

  去大阪京瓷巨蛋看演唱會，走路到京瓷巨蛋大約20幾分鐘，旁邊附近也有便利商店很方便，費用也不貴房間很乾淨很整齊舒適度也非常好。

  評価する点としては部屋がとてもきれいでチェックインの時間に指定がないことです。４にんの旅行でしたが大阪で観光すべき、主要最寄り駅までは特に便が良かったです。
  
  What could be improved: 宿泊施設が最寄駅から多少時間かかるのでタクシーを拾う必要がありました。
  4階に宿泊しましたが、キャリーケースを持っての歩きで４階まで上がるのは結構きつかったです。
