Okay, so this place has probably the longest name I’ve ever seen for a hotel, but honestly? It’s not lying about the location. I mean, you literally step out of Namba Station and you’re there in about a minute – I timed it because I was curious. The building itself is this narrow little structure that’s so typical of Osaka, squeezed between other buildings but somehow managing to feel modern inside.

What really got me was how they’ve managed to make apartment-style living work in such a compact space. The room I stayed in (211, which I’m guessing is where they got part of that ridiculous name) was actually pretty stylish – clean lines, decent lighting, and you know what? The bed was comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up feeling like I’d been wrestling with a futon all night. The kitchenette is tiny but functional, which is perfect because honestly, you’re going to want to grab some of those amazing takoyaki from Dotonbori and bring them back to eat while you plan your next day. Speaking of Dotonbori, it’s literally a five-minute walk – you can actually hear the crowds when you open the windows, but it’s not so loud that it’ll keep you up if you’re tired from walking around all day.

Here’s the thing about this location that the booking sites don’t really capture – you’re in this sweet spot where you can hit Kuromon Market for breakfast (the tuna sashimi there is insane), spend your day at Universal Studios since the train connection is super straightforward, then come back and be in the heart of Namba’s chaos within minutes. I spent one evening just wandering around Shinsekai, which is practically next door, and ended up at this tiny kushikatsu place that definitely doesn’t see many tourists. The staff at the hotel actually gave me decent directions in English, which was a relief because my Japanese is pretty much limited to “arigato” and pointing at things. The building does get a bit warm in summer – the AC works fine, but these older buildings in Osaka just seem to hold heat – and the elevator is definitely built for Japanese efficiency rather than Western comfort, but these are minor things when you’re paying what you’re paying for this location. The 8.8 rating makes sense to me; it’s not luxury, but it delivers exactly what it promises without any weird surprises.

  Property is just two steps right next to subway exit 2, can't be any closer. Pocket wifi provided, but out of city, the signal was slow sometimes. Value for money. There are 2 supermarkets few mins walk away.
  
  What could be improved: Only one pillow per bed and the pillow is too thin. Had to fold the pillow into half. Shower room does not have a small stool.

  I like the Location and the price for the size of the accommodation and all the facilities available for use.
  
  What could be improved: The water heater remote is far from the shower/bath area. If someone is using it alone and it shut off, then he would need to walk really far to turn it on again.

  The house is just beside the metro Daikakuchou station gate no. 2! It is so convenient to access different locations. Many restaurants and convenient shops around the house as well. The space is also enough for a group of friends. The building is not new and the electrical appliances are not fashion models, but owner keep the things very well and all are in good condition and definitely can fulfil the needs. The owner is also very responsive, helpful and friendly. Overall, we are very satisfied with the stay and had a pleasant journey in Osaka!

  Very accessible location. Complete amenities needed for a family accommodation. Very good for the price.
  
  What could be improved: Toilet seat not fit on toilet bowl. On and off power on wifi side outlet. No clothes hanger at shower. Not that we didn't like but for improvement or fixing in case the owner is not aware.

  住宿地點很方便，大國町站2號出口一出站就到了，房間乾淨也夠大，有暖氣機而且還有WIFI機，很棒。
  
  What could be improved: 只是顯示的地址在網路上搜尋時，一時間找不到入口，大樓本身也沒有標示網路所說的大廈名稱，如果可以放上入口的照片，會讓人容易找到入口。
  免治馬桶的沖水器時好時壞。
