Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name 通天閣悦庭蘭舍, I thought I was in for some touristy hotel trying too hard to sound fancy. But this little gem actually surprised me in the best way possible. It’s tucked away in what feels like a real neighborhood where people actually live, not just another strip of hotels competing for Instagram photos. The building itself is modest – we’re talking 3-star territory here – but there’s something genuinely welcoming about the place that you don’t always find in Osaka’s busier districts.

What really got me was how the staff seemed to actually care about the details. I mean, you know how some places have that 9.5 rating but you can’t figure out why? This isn’t one of those cases. The rooms are clean in that distinctly Japanese way where everything has its place, and honestly, the bed was way more comfortable than I expected. The whole setup feels like someone’s well-kept apartment rather than a sterile hotel room – which makes sense given the address includes “アパート” (apartment). The neighborhood around it is pretty quiet, especially at night, which was perfect since I’d been staying in noisier parts of the city before this. You’ll hear the occasional train in the distance, but it’s more soothing than disruptive.

Here’s what I really appreciated though – the location puts you close enough to the action without being right in the middle of the chaos. You can actually walk to some decent local spots that most tourists never stumble across, and there’s a convenience store about two minutes away that saved me multiple times when I needed snacks or forgot to grab something. The check-in process was smooth, no weird complications or surprise fees, and they had English-speaking staff available when needed. I stayed there during what turned out to be a pretty busy season, but the place never felt crowded or rushed. Sometimes you find these smaller properties that feel like hidden secrets, and this is definitely one of them – the kind of place where you sleep well, wake up refreshed, and don’t spend half your travel budget just on accommodation.

  What an amazing place to stay in Osaka.
  We really felt like home.
  The apartment is really big especially for what you can find in Japan.
  It seems it has been renovated recently because it looks super new & fresh, everything was clean, the rooms were spacious & cozy, bed very comfortable, there is enough storage to put all your personal belongings, all the amenities did not miss at all !
  The neighborhood is really cool, not too noisy not too quiet. There is some restaurants & souvenirs shops close by.
  Close to the metro, there is few konbini in the area which is great.
  Excellent communication with the owner, everything was easy.
  We had an amazing stay & we wish we would have stayed longer.

  츠텐카쿠에서 약 150m, 에비스초 3번출구에서 약 160m에요. 1층에 머물러서 계단 이용없이 편하게 머물렀어요.

  Le linge de maison et la litterie est très agréable.

  離地鐵站很近，附近就是通天塔，樓下有很多餐廳可以選擇。
  房間很乾淨，幾乎準備了所有的生活用品，有冰箱，微波爐和電磁爐可以煮東西吃，還有洗衣機和洗衣液可以洗衣服。
