But you know what? That ridiculously long name actually tells you everything you need to know about this place – it’s practical, no-nonsense, and gets straight to the point.

The location is honestly pretty brilliant if you know Osaka at all. Tamade isn’t exactly the tourist district everyone talks about, but that’s actually what makes it interesting. You’re in Nishinari-ku, which has this authentic, lived-in feel that’s completely different from the polished tourist zones. The walk from Tamade Station really is about two minutes – I timed it because I’m weird like that – and getting to Namba takes maybe 8-10 minutes on the subway, depending on how the connections work out. What I really appreciated was being able to duck back to the hotel easily when my feet were killing me after walking around Dotonbori all day.

The room itself is pretty standard for what you’d expect from a 3-star spot in this part of town, but honestly, it does what it needs to do well. The wifi actually works (I know, revolutionary concept), and the double room has enough space that you’re not bumping into the walls every time you open your suitcase. The area around the hotel has this mix of tiny local shops and convenience stores – there’s a Family Mart basically around the corner, which became my best friend for late-night snacks. One thing I noticed was how quiet it gets at night, especially compared to staying right in the middle of Namba or Shinsaibashi where you’ve got people stumbling around until all hours. The building itself isn’t fancy, but it’s clean and the check-in process was surprisingly smooth considering the language barrier I was expecting.

What really sold me on this place was the morning routine I fell into. There’s this little coffee shop about three blocks away that opens early, and I’d grab coffee there before heading out for the day. The neighborhood has this sleepy, residential vibe in the mornings that I found pretty charming – you see people heading to work, kids walking to school, the whole authentic slice of life thing. Plus, and this might sound silly, but I loved that I could actually afford to eat at the local restaurants around here instead of paying tourist prices. The ramen place two streets over became my regular spot, and the owner started recognizing me by day three.

I mean, let’s be real – this isn’t a luxury experience, and if you need to be right in the heart of the action, you might feel a bit disconnected. But for the price point and that 8.2 rating, it delivers exactly what it promises. Sometimes that’s actually refreshing – a place that knows what it is and does it well without trying to be something it’s not.

  The room was really spacious and well cleaned before I arrive. No staff so if you are an introvert and don't want to talk to anyone then you are welcome. Everything needed for cooking and/or washing your clothes was there and the washing machine worked perfectly.

  What could be improved: Despite keeping my door and window fully closed, I could still smell cigarette smoke when people were smoking outside their rooms, especially at night.
  
  For two consecutive nights, the guests in Room 101 next to me were having loud parties with DJ-level bass music from 9:00 PM to 3:00 AM. Given how thin the walls are, I could hear everything clearly.

  What could be improved: Location was really out of the way for being s tourist unfamiliar with the area ( 30-60 minutes on the metro to visit any of the top tourist things). Bed mattresses were well worn and solid, I woke with sore hips every morning

  its a quiet neighbourhood and very close to train. There are 7 eleven too. Eateries are easy to find as well. Really recommended. Only 4/5 station away to Namba Station which is very convenient.
  
  What could be improved: The room is quite spacious and there still rooms to place luggage (even organize things) and perform prayer, however it seems that the room is not quite clean as we can felt the dust. We also hope that they can provide tissue refill. However, this is just a small issue

  Ubytování bylo ve velmi klidné lokalitě, velmi blízko zastávce metra. V centru za 15 minut. Skvělý poměr cena/ubytování.

  Było to w pełni wyposażone mieszkanie, były garnki i sztućce, pralka (i płyn do prania), suszarka i suszarka do włosów, mikrofala, kuchenka, czajnik, toster.
  Były ręczniki, plastikowe szczoteczki jednorazowe, golarki i gąbki, żel pod prysznic, szampon i odżywka.
  Dużo wygodne łóżko o 2 rozkładane na ziemi (zajmowało dużo miejsca).
  Był stół i 4 krzesła.

  What could be improved: Przy wyjściu trzeba wyłączyć klimatyzacje, przez co w pokoju był nieprzyjemny zapach, ciuchy długo schły, a ręczniki śmierdziały.

  清潔感のある部屋で、ドライヤーやタオル、冷蔵庫、レンジ、歯ブラシがあるのが良かった。エアコンも使えて快適だった。
  
  What could be improved: コップがない。歯ブラシと歯磨き粉を分けたもので置いて欲しかった。トイレットペーパーの補充が全然されていなかった。
