I mean, I was expecting some massive corporate hotel, but this place is honestly more like staying at your Japanese friend’s really well-designed apartment building – if your friend happened to have impeccable taste and a thing for minimalist aesthetics.

The location is actually brilliant, and I’m saying this as someone who’s wandered around Naniwa way too many times trying to find decent places to crash. You’re right in Hanazono-cho, which – let’s be real – most tourists completely skip over because they’re all heading straight to Dotonbori like lemmings. But here’s the thing: you’re literally a ten-minute walk from all that chaos, yet when you step outside House, it’s this quiet residential vibe where you can actually hear yourself think. There’s a Family Mart right around the corner (trust me, you’ll appreciate this at 11 PM when you need snacks), and the subway connections are solid without being overwhelming. The building itself sits on this narrow street that feels very authentically Osaka – none of that touristy polish, just real neighborhood life happening around you.

What really sold me on this place, though, was how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between modern comfort and not trying too hard. The rooms are clean in that specifically Japanese way where everything has its exact place, and honestly, after staying in some questionable accommodations around Kansai, the attention to detail here was refreshing. The beds are actually comfortable – not just “acceptable for the price” comfortable, but like, you’ll sleep well comfortable. And the bathrooms? Small, obviously, but they’ve maximized every inch without making you feel claustrophobic. The water pressure is decent, which again, you don’t always get at this price point. Check-in was smooth, though I’d recommend brushing up on basic Japanese phrases because the staff, while incredibly helpful, seemed more comfortable in Japanese than English. The whole building has this quiet, respectful atmosphere – no slamming doors at 2 AM or people having loud phone conversations in the hallways. I’m guessing they’re pretty selective about their guests, which honestly works in everyone’s favor. The only minor thing is that the walls aren’t super thick, so if you’re a light sleeper, pack earplugs just in case. But compared to some places I’ve stayed in Osaka where you can practically hear your neighbor’s Netflix choices, this was pretty peaceful. For a 3-star place pulling a 9 rating, it’s clear they’re doing something right – and after spending a few nights there, I totally get why people keep coming back.

  I fully recommend staying in this hotel if you travel to Osaka. Location is 10 mins walk from Metro, 2 stop to Dontonbori market and shopping mall. If I have a chance again, I'll choose again to stay there.

  Everything was great. The key system to check in and out was amazing!! Great location, 6 min walk from the subway. The room are big and very well organized!

  The property is easily accessible, very close to the y line, and have 2 recents supermarket around.
  Registration is flawless.
  I appreciated the courtesy umbrellas and hand device to weight your luggage before heading to the airport
  
  What could be improved: I could have appreciated to see more cutleries (it was no knife), toaster or oven grill. As well since we were a party of 3, 3 chairs to seat around the table)
  Also the premise was lacking of electrical outlets next to the bed head (what was a minor inconvenience for our party which include a guest whose need a respirator device

  Comfortable room, easy to obtain key from key safe. 5-10 mins walking distance from two metro stations.

  Location was good. Flat was clean and had all things necessary. Train station near you could hear the trains 24h but didn’t mind I can sleep well. Also they provide earplugs in case you need.
  Bed was comfy and there’s a family mart on the opposite street super close 🙂
  
  What could be improved: I would add a rack for people to dry their clothes.
  What we didn’t like at first was that when entering the flat you could smell smoke as if someone’s been smoking and then they vented the room but you could still smell it a little.
  It’s forbidden to smoke there anyways 🙂
