I mean, you’re literally in the heart of Namba, which is exactly where you want to be if you’re doing the whole Osaka thing properly. The hotel sits on Shikitsunishi, and I’m telling you, once you figure out the neighborhood layout, you’ll realize how perfectly positioned this is.

What actually surprised me was how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between being close to all the action but not drowning in tourist chaos. You know what I’m talking about – those places where you can’t sleep because of street noise and drunk salarymen at 2 AM. Here, you get the energy of Namba without the headache. The Universal Studios theming is pretty tasteful too, not like some places where they go completely overboard with cartoon characters plastered everywhere. It’s more… subtle nods to the Mario universe that’ll make you smile without feeling like you’re sleeping in a kids’ playroom.

The 4-star rating feels honest – they’re not trying to be the Park Hyatt, but they’re definitely not cutting corners on the stuff that matters. Check-in was smooth (they actually had English-speaking staff, which isn’t always a given in this part of town), and the rooms are cleverly designed to feel bigger than they probably are. That’s crucial in Osaka where space is premium. What really won me over was the attention to those little details – like actually decent water pressure in the shower and blackout curtains that, well, actually black out the room. You’d be amazed how many places mess up the basics.

The location thing is worth diving into because it’s genuinely special. You’re a quick walk to Dotonbori – and I mean the real Dotonbori, not just the touristy strip everyone photographs. There’s this whole network of side streets and alleys with incredible food that most visitors never find, and staying here puts you right in the middle of it all. Plus, getting to Universal Studios is straightforward, which I assume is part of the appeal given the theming. The train connections are solid too – Namba station is close enough that you’re not dragging luggage through endless underground passages.

Honestly, with a 9.1 rating, they’re clearly doing something right, and after staying there, I get it. It’s not revolutionary or Instagram-perfect, but it’s the kind of place where everything just works. The staff seems to actually care about your experience, the location saves you time and money on transport, and you’ll sleep well after long days exploring the city. Sometimes that’s exactly what you need – a place that handles the logistics so you can focus on why you came to Osaka in the first place.

  check in and check out is easy, owner responds quickly and solve the problem immediately, the apartment is clean, tiday and full of equipment, there is also washing machine and bacony, location is good, few minutes walk to 大国町station, which is only 1 stop from Namba, or you can walk to Namba, there is a life supermarket just downstairs (09:30-00:00) and the second floor for pharmacy close at 22:00. also a lawson nearby.

  設備の充実度。一般的な調理器具だけでなく油などの調味料。洗濯機、空気清浄機など普通に暮らせるレベルでした。マリオのグッズ類は沢山あって1.5デイパスの合間の夜も楽しく過ごせました。初めての民泊でわからないこともありましたが、電話したら丁寧に対応してくれました。

  Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet und es gab viele nützliche Dinge. Zum Beispiel Waschmittel für die Waschmaschine und verschiedene Gewürze zum Kochen. Es gab auch ein paar Snacks und Getränke.
  Man kann die Wäsche auf dem Balkon trocknen. Bei dem warmen Sommerwetter ist sie schnell getrocknet.
  Der Fernseher ist gut und das Sofa bequem. Perfekt für einen gemütlichen Abend.
  
  What could be improved: Nur Kleinigkeiten.
  Einige Türen sind etwas niedrig, sodass ich mich als 187 cm großer Mensch manchmal den Kopf angestoßen habe. Und am Handtuchhalter im Bad habe ich mich manchmal gestoßen.
  Die Klimaanlage schafft bei heißem Wetter nicht, die Wohnung beliebig kühl zu halten. Als es draußen 35°C warm war, war es in der Wohnung etwa 25°C warm, obwohl sie auf 20 °C eingestellt war. Das war für mich aber völlig ausreichend.

  3.老闆超讚的，入住第一晚碰到一些狀況，老闆立刻就處理了！真的大推！！！
