Don’t let that quirky title fool you because this little apartment in Namba is actually a gem. The location is absolutely killer – I mean, one minute from the station is no joke. I timed it myself because I’m that kind of person, and yeah, it’s literally a quick walk from Namba Station. You’ll be dragging your luggage for maybe 60 seconds, which after a long flight is basically a miracle.

The apartment itself sits in this residential building that feels more like where locals actually live rather than tourist central, which I really appreciated. It’s a proper two-bedroom setup that can handle four people without everyone stepping on each other’s toes – and trust me, I’ve stayed in “spacious” places in Osaka where you’re basically sleeping in a shoebox. The 9.3 rating makes total sense once you’re inside. Everything’s clean, the AC works properly (crucial in summer), and whoever manages this place clearly gets that travelers need reliable wifi and decent water pressure. The kitchen’s functional too, though honestly, with all the incredible food within walking distance, you might not use it much.

What really sold me on this spot is how perfectly positioned it is for exploring. Takashimaya is right there when you need proper shopping, and you can literally walk to Dotonbori in about five minutes – perfect for those late-night ramen runs or early morning photo sessions before the crowds hit. Shinsaibashi is practically next door, and getting to Tsutenkaku Tower is a breeze. The neighborhood has this nice mix of being central enough that you’re not wasting time on trains, but residential enough that you’re not dealing with drunk tourists stumbling around at 3 AM. I actually loved walking back from Dotonbori at night – the streets get quieter as you head toward the apartment, and you get this nice transition from chaos to calm. The building’s pretty quiet too, which isn’t always a given in Osaka. Only minor thing I’d mention is that like most places in the area, space is at a premium, so pack light if you can. But honestly, for the location and the price point, this place delivers exactly what you want – a clean, comfortable base that puts you right in the heart of everything without the hotel markup.
