The rooms are small (and I mean Japanese-small, so pack light), but everything’s designed with that efficient Japanese logic where every inch has a purpose. The beds are surprisingly comfortable, though the walls are thin enough that you’ll hear your neighbors if they’re night owls binge-watching anime with the volume up. What I really appreciated was how quiet it actually gets after midnight – the area transforms from this buzzing electronics district into something almost residential. The staff speaks decent English, which is a relief when you’re trying to figure out check-in after a long flight, and they’re genuinely helpful about navigating the neighborhood.

Here’s what makes this spot special though – the location is absolutely unbeatable if you’re into Japanese pop culture or just want to experience a slice of modern Osaka that tourists often miss. You’re literally a two-minute walk from Denden Town (that’s what locals call this electronics district), and honestly, you could spend days just wandering through the vintage game shops and figure stores. Plus, and this is key, you’re super close to both Nipponbashi and Namba stations, which means you can get anywhere in Osaka or Kyoto without dealing with complicated transfers. The morning ritual of grabbing coffee from the convenience store downstairs and watching the neighborhood wake up – salarymen rushing to work, shop owners setting up their displays – it’s pretty perfect. The 7.9 rating feels about right; it’s not luxury, but it delivers exactly what it promises without any unpleasant surprises.   We enjoyed the location of our stay, the self check in information is thorough to appropriately follow. Definitely screenshot it though don’t bank on having data loading ok on your phone when you arrive. The space is massive there are so many little items there to use, the duvet was cosy but the pillows were a new experience for us we’ve never had such hard pillows before like sleeping on sacks. We loved the heated loo seat what a luxury. Was also so peaceful in the building. WiFi was fab – was nice to be at a place with strong WiFi!
  
  What could be improved: We found it cold in the kitchen area and then noticed there is an open air vent so that explained why we actually stayed in the main room a lot due to the coldness which is a shame as would have used the kitchen area more if not for the cold. I enjoyed staying in a home stay but I would have the bathroom off the bedroom for the night warmth where cupboard is and the kitchen area closer to the door where bathroom area is for temperature regulation.
  We also could smell the kitchen sink drain as mentioned in previous comments. However we weren’t in there much and you cannot smell it at all in the main room.

  Great location if you're looking for a really quiet area (about 10 mins to nipponbashi, 20mins to Namba). The room was clean and matched the description! The host was very responsive and checked in on us during our stay! We loved the tv in the room, it was nice to be able to rest for the day or after a day out and watch a movie (can screen mirror or simply log in to your streaming platforms). The beds were comfortable and the blankets warm. The room comes with a washing machine and a clothes line! Overall, great location amd great plave to stay.
  
  What could be improved: No elevator 🙁 had to climb 5 flights of stairs with 2 extra large luggage (when booked i didn't realise it was a building with lots of levels). Can very much hear people next door and people in the surrounding buildings if they'replaying music or have people over. The clothes line only fits in the kitchen or in the hallway, its too big for the balcony so i recommend when hanging it to place thr humidifier under and close the doors/windows.

  The property was clean, with plenty of amenities and adequate facilities. The staff were responsive and the photo instructions to get into the property were very good. The bed was comfortable, although a little cosy for 2 of us on one bed. Everything worked and was kept neat and tidy. There was not much space to move around, which I think is common for Japan.
  
  What could be improved: It was a little far from the station with our luggage, though the areas we were interested in were within 15 minutes walk.

  I like that it is complete, you can cook, there is a toaster kettle,washing machine detergent provided and you can hang clothes at the balcony.
  
  What could be improved: I didn't know that there's no elevator. Our room was 5th floor, we need to go upstairs every day. Everything was ok, only the stairs were the down side.

  It was a neat little location in osaka. It was large for the price and had a nice tv and couch. The heating worked great
  
  What could be improved: It was a little far from all the stations though, and 5th floor with no elevator was a little brutal. The rest of the apartment (kitchen and bathroom) was cold compared to the sleeping room. I didn't know it was remote check in and I had to stay outside for like 2 hours before I could get in since I was having issues with my network.
